Hello Carmichael Swim Team Families,
We are ready to start our registration for our 2010 Fall Swim Season. This is an opportunity for our swimmers to almost double their time in the pool in 2010. Swimmers who participated in our 2009 Fall Season gained additional practice time, instruction and endurance that helped them get a good start on our spring/summer season. The pool is heated throughout the season and the swimmers are warmer than the parents waiting on deck. The kids enjoy swimming in the steam as the evenings get cooler.
Practice will be Monday through Thursday between 6:30-8:00 at Del Campo High School.
Practices start September 7th and ends December 3rd, approximately 50 practices.
Our registration fee is $200 per swimmer.
We will be on the Del Campo pool deck next Tuesday the 24th and Wednesday the 25th from 6:30-8:00 to register swimmers and answer questions. Attached is the registration form you can print out in advance. If you can’t make the registration dates you can send your registration form and payment to our PO Box 581 , Carmichael , CA 95609 .
Our limit is fifty swimmers so register as soon as possible to assure your spot on our Fall Swim Team.
If you have questions email cb.swim@hotmail.com.
Team Mission
Desire - Dedication - Determination
“Winning is important, as individuals and as a team. It is not the most important part of being a member of the Carmichael Beavers Swim Team. We stress teamwork and sportsmanship, but most of all, self improvement.
If we lose a meet, but most of the Beavers improve their time, we consider that a win. Self-improvement comes from hard work and good coaching. It is important to listen to the Coaches and apply what they teach. Whenever possible, help another teammate improve and the whole team improves.
We are a non-profit organization and depend heavily on Parent Volunteers. The more volunteer help we have at meets, the faster and easier the meets run. Because we are non-profit organization, donations and sponsorships are crucial in order to keep our fees low.
Most importantly, let’s have fun and “swim on!”
